Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42101898) dated (12/5/1442 ), which is referred to the letter of the Ministry of Culture No. (1009) dated (8/5/1442), which includes the initiative of the Ministry in cooperation with the Riyadh Chamber Entitled (The Year of Arabic Calligraphy) and works to show its importance as stand-alone art, and where it wishes to cooperate to enhance its presence at the level of institutions and individuals through a series of partnerships and various activities in cooperation with the government and private sectors under the auspices of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and the most prominent objectives of this project:
-Strengthening the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the capital of Arabic calligraphy, and highlighting the art of Arabic calligraphy as a stand-alone art that reflects the richness of Arab culture.
-Stimulating Arabic calligraphy practices at the level of institutions and individuals, and supporting specialists and talented people in it.
-Spreading the culture of using Arabic calligraphy among young people, and uniting the efforts of the concerned sectors and individual initiatives that seek to preserve the art of Arabic calligraphy and protect it from extinction.
And because of the importance of using the identity of the year of Arabic calligraphy found on this link (http://bit.do/fMbdr), to spread the culture of Arabic calligraphy and encourage internal and external initiatives to celebrate the year of Arabic calligraphy 2021.
